5. Data recipients

6. Data retention period


Villechenon processes your data only for the time required to achieve the aforementioned purposes.


Data collected by Villechenon is retained:

  • For a period of 2 years from the submission of your application or your last contact with us;
  • For a period of 13 months from the placement of cookies on your device.


At the end of these retention periods, your Personal Data will be securely archived for the necessary legal or regulatory retention and/or limitation periods. After these periods, your Personal Data will be deleted in accordance with applicable regulations.

7. Your rights

In application of the GDPR, as a “data subject” with regard to the processing carried out by Villechenon, you have the right:

  • To access your Data: that is, to obtain from the data controller confirmation that Data concerning you is or is not being processed and to request access to this Data, as well as various information including the purposes of the processing, the category of Data, the recipient(s) of the Data;
  • To rectification in case of error: that is, to obtain from the data controller, as soon as possible, the rectification of inaccurate Data concerning you. You have the right to have incomplete data completed, including by providing a supplementary statement;
  • To erasure: that is, to obtain from the data controller the deletion, as soon as possible, of personal data concerning you for the following reasons:
    • purposes for which it was collected or processed;
    • the consent on which the processing was based has been withdrawn, and there is no other legal basis for processing;
    • the processing has been objected to and no overriding legitimate grounds justify the processing;
    • the data has been unlawfully processed;
    • the data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation to which Villechenon may be subject;
  • To restriction of processing: that is, to obtain from the data controller the restriction of the processing of your Data if you contest the accuracy of your Data, if the processing is unlawful and you request restriction, if the data controller no longer needs your Data but it is still necessary for you;
  • To data portability: that is, to receive the Data provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller;
  • To object: that is, to object at any time to the processing of the Data unless there are legitimate and compelling reasons for the processing.


You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, unless this decision is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, is authorized by European Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject, or you have given your consent.


You may also define directives regarding your data in the event of death. These directives are specific and, in accordance with Article 85, I, paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Act, relate to the retention, erasure and communication of personal data post-mortem. If you define specific directives concerning the processing of personal data mentioned in these directives, they must be registered with the relevant data controllers. Where your consent has been obtained for the processing of your Personal Data, you may withdraw your consent at any time.


These rights may be exercised by simple written request addressed to your data protection contact by email at: contact@villechenon.com, providing a legitimate reason when required by law. To exercise your rights, proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt as to your identity.


In the event of disagreement with the response provided or if the response is considered incomplete, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, located at 3 Place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07), the national supervisory authority responsible for ensuring compliance with personal data protection obligations.
