The start-up company, Actility, specialized in smart grids and established in May 2010 by Olivier Hersent, founder of Netcentrex, finalized a second round of fund raising for the amount of € 6.75 million from its founding investor, Truffle Capital (€ 2.75 million), and two newcomers: Idinvest Partners via the EDF Electranova Capital fund and CDC Entreprises. This funding will enable the company to expand its platform ThingPark, an M2M communication tool designed to improve the management of the electricity demand in the Smart Grid.
